Wife: All wives are mean. Give me one wife who isn’t mean.

Me: Clair Huxtable

Wife: She used to take food away from Cliff. You don’t think that was mean?

Me: She was just trying to keep him from dying of a heart attack. It was nice.

Wife: Ok, give me another one. I’m telling you, I’m normal. All wives are mean.

Me: Hmm, ok, you got me. I can’t think of one. But why can’t you be the pioneer? Think of women pioneers in history. Do you think Susan B. Anthony would jump off the bridge if all the other mean wives did? What about Rosa Parks? And Mrs. Garrett from Facts Of Life?

Wife: Mrs. Garrett? She was a pioneer?

Me: Have you ever seen a single white lady take care of 4 teenage girls with such love and none of them even looked a bit like her?

Wife: No.

Me: Ok, just be like Jenna Jameson then.

Wife: How is she a pioneer?

Me: Who said she’s a pioneer? I just want you to be like Jenna Jameson.
