Aubrey Aquino, For Deco Drive

My friend Aubrey Aquino graduated from San Jose State with me (ok, I lied, she beat me by a year). We both majored in Radio/TV Journalism. But only one of us has kept on with our dream of reporting news (well, I was only interested in sports reporting). She’s paid her dues working in market after market, buying a house in Phoenix, and taking the plunge and moving herself out to Miami, Florida. I know it was quite the courageous decision for her and I supported her in it saying that she’s been taking chances all her life, so why stop now. She’s doing freelance work out in Miami and she figured out how to upload her work into her computer and has put it on YouTube.

I just wanted to shout her out for continuing to follow her dream and post a couple of her pieces very well. I will say that she is 1 million times better at it than I ever was, and if not for her kicking my ass everyday at SJSU, I might’ve never actually found my calling, working at Shopping.com for Epinions.
