Friday Night Lights Season 3 Episode 7 – And We’re Back

A funny thing happened as I was blogging this show during its DirecTV “preseason” run. Carol decided to stop the DirecTV service. She decided to get cable again, and my ability to watch this show was gone. I had to wait until the NBC run. And finally, we’re caught up and I can watch again.

- It sure is great to see Lyla Garrity again.

- After the house is finally finished being renovated, Street wants to sell the house without a realtor. And he calls Riggins dumb.

- One of the starting players on the football team set a girl’s hair on fire in the classroom. How wacky is that?

- That football player was pulled off the team by his parents and now Coach Taylor is pissed at Principal Taylor.

- Landry just kissed his new girl band mate. It didn’t look very fun.

- After Landry kissed the girl, he went to Tyra and told her that she was right and that they were never meant to be together. And now he has a girl. Um, dude, you just kissed your band mate. And it didn’t look fun.

- Buddy’s two kids who are staying with their mom decided to come visit their father. And they hate him so badly for cheating on their mom.

- And Landry’s girl is a lesbian. Just like Rosie O’Donnell. She also thanked him for helping her make sure she didn’t like guys. Bam!

- Street met a sports agent at the game and I think he’s ready to throw his hat into another arena. However, don’t you have to graduate college to do that? Poor Street didn’t finish his last year.

- I wish people called me 6.

- After selling the house, Street tells Lyla that he’s moving to New York.

Next week is the goodbye to Jason Street episode.

But before we say goodbye, I wanted to show you the greatest of the man who would become Jason Street.

I said I wasn’t going to lose my head, but then pop goes my heart.
